Superb technique, it would help to know what the narrative is, or story line. That's the trick in getting an illustration past an editor. But good start!

Nice interpretation of Baba Yaga. I like the play of warms/cools, but if the light is coming from between the background trees, wouldn't we see cools on the "front" of the chicken-legged hut, more cools on the left of Baba Yaga (her right side), and some warms on the roses and trees on the right? As is, I lose a little definition of Baba Yaga's figure in the "glow"... but it's a nice piece!
